I'm exhausted and sick

What a busy holiday. Non-stop with assignment. And well, I'm sick.

It's so hard when misunderstanding or 'beh song' happens in group assignment. I try to have all of them feel good with me and I fail.

When all the thing haven't started yet, you should have agreement on everyone. Agreement on what are we doing. But some, they just keep quiet during discussion. Until everything is done, until the last moment, they say that's not the way.

Well. How? Some how we will not do it all over again. Then? Are you trying to say I'm wrong? I did not follow majority? I did not accept what you say? But do you remember what you did when I asked your opinion on that? Do you remember how you answered it? Perhaps, you will think that I did not ask you. But I remember it well! You said you have no comment and wouldn't do extra any more. Did you?

And others just follow. When something happened, group leader should be blamed on. That day, 5 of us in the discussion. One says do not ask him. So, I have convinced another 2 on that. And you have no comment. We seem to agreed on that. Seem to. And now?

That is a 25-pages assignment. I worked from morning until mid-night. I'm fine if you do not appreciate. May be it is not good enough. But do you know how many work have u done on it?

I know it is impolite to post here. But seems the last apology to you is already failed. I tried to be friendly, open but... I really do not know what to say. I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed.

Everything will be fine. I feel sick. Thanks for your time. I just want to 'pour bitter water'. Not to blaming anyone.

Short Sem?!

because I had been focus for 2 hours. I can't really focus right now. So take some time to update this blog.

This is the 1st short sem in my life. I have never thought that would be this packed.

Week 1 is new week. Classes are not really packed and filled with knowledge. Just casual
Week 2 is normal week. I attended classes as usual.
Week 3 is SUKIPT tournament. It stands for Sukan Institusi Pengajian Tinggi. Hmm... The result is not satisfying. In fact, a bit disappointing. I think I gotta pay more hardwork on my badminton.
Week 4 is assignment-rushing week. I have not really stop working on the assignmentsss progress. ( I put 3s because I have 3 assignments). And I also have sit for 3 mid term within a week. What a bravo week.

****** This is until now. ******

Week 5 is unofficial mid-sem break. Deepavali and other public holiday. (This is for me to rush my assignment, because
Week 6 is the submission of all the 3 assignmentsss weeks. Indeed, 4 assignmentssss.
Week 7 last official class week

then end of the short sem. I predict. So fast. I feel like I just started my new semester and it's going to end.

okay... I want to share some photos with you.

The Hug

Not to be misunderstood, the post title is just something pop out on my mind when I was thinking the title for this.

I was on the way back to KL here for this coming Saturday tournament. It was Wednesday night. I got down from train and went to wash room. When I was heading to LRT station, I saw my friend, Liang Bin.

I ran near to him and pushed him from the back. When he saw me, he was surprise, happy, excited. He opened his arm and we gave each other a friendly hug. Hug does warm people. Sometimes hug means more than a kiss.

Me, I don't really believe in friendship like I always do. But my foundation friends were the best I could say. We just true friends. We share ideas, secrets, jokes and many more. We do not talk bad about anyone of us in our gang of 10.

I miss how we used to be in foundation. Since second semester of foundation, 10 of us were always together.

-There were always the places that we all 10 sat around in lecturer class
-We went to Mamak for our lunch together everyday
-We have almost 95% of the same time table
-We plan our time table for the following semester for 10 of us
-We will have poker card or monopoly card to play during the break
-We will bring snacks to share
-We will have our Friday-Sure-Jam-So-Dinner after 6pm class
-We will stay at McDonald for more than 1 hours just to talk and laugh and play
-We will post for each other for those who enrols in drawing class
-We will share the sweater if cold
-We will have taller people to hold the umbrella during sunny day or rain

************************************************************************
Each of us have different personality.
(Which one do you think you are?)
-We have the one who always shuffle the cards but not playing
-We have the one who always act cool but actually wanting to laugh
-We have the one who always walk at the back, make sure others are safe
-We have the one who always eats slow
-We have the one who always laugh at Not-So-Funny-Jokes
-We have the one who always comes late
-We have the one who always have many so-called magic to cheat people(epic fail)
-We have the one who always talks loud yet saying wants to be lady
-We have the one who always prepare sweater in his bag but not for himself
************************************************************************

I just love the way we are. Don't you all? I miss the foundation. I miss you all. May God bless you all. Wish you all the best. Hope to meet up in very soon.

Where is the key chain that I give you? Melaka one and the Sarawak one? =)

First time visit such exhibition

Archidex 2012 Exhibition.
As Construction Technology assignment required, it gave us a chance to visit such a grand exhibition. Nice experience. May be because I looked formal, many of the exhibitor asked me for my name card! LOL. I don't have, I am only a Year 1 Sem 1 Architecture student.

Got many brochure. Related to assignments, not related to assignment also I had taken. So heavy.

Any way, it was a nice experience! Feel like joining this kinda exhibition in future.

Egg drop test

Week 2 of Architecture. We were told to do a model for an egg. The egg will be drop from different height and not broken. The lightest is the winner. Since this is the first thing we do, so we were allowed to do it in a group of 2, means pair work. We were assigned to this on Monday and to drop it on Wednesday (Today).

Start with the rack for the egg.

I initially do not know how to tie. But this is what I have done.

The egg

This is the one my housemate helped me before the first try to drop.

While waiting for the rack, my housemate started to play with the egg.

But this stick break due to it knocked to the edge of the drain. And the egg? Broken =(

I believe it won't break. If the model drops on flat paved road, it did not knocked to the drain, it will not crack, it will not go wrong, and most importantly, the egg will not break. I stayed up late night until 2.30am for this model. My effort is gone. Sad case. =( Never mind. As experience.

Ice-breaking

Again another ice-breaking session. I blog because I'm waiting my hair to dry. Now is 12.34am.

Monday, we were told that we will have ice-breaking program which is to do a model and that will be used to design the Architecture UTAR T-shirt. 30 over Y1S1(Year 1 Semester 1) are to divided into 10 groups with each group has seniors from different year of class. SO FORTUNATELY that, suppose to have around 3 to 4 of Y1S1 students in the same group, but I'm the only one! They asked for mind about Architecture and to draw something. OMG! That was my first day of Architecture! I know nothing! But I can cope.

Rough concept
another rough concept.
Wednesday continue to develop the idea of it and start to do. We failed the first and decided to change all over. As our group seniors are always not around, so we were late. I had one meal for whole day at 6pm! Cause I don't have time to eat. OMG! Is it life of architect?

Friday, means today. We have done the model. And started to design our Polo T-shirt. And I learned how my senior presented today. He is the best presenter among all the 10 groups. He caught attention. One of the lecturer also like the story of our model.

After that, they had ‘Tug of War'. I didn't join. Cause we were not in sport attire. I just skipped. Around 7pm, they announced the winner of the model. From first we fail and we did not know what we did, and finally, our group got 2nd runner up! OMG! My group won! And we got a note book with a Architect's signature.

Then we started the treasure hunt at 8pm. Unbelievable that I ran up and down in UTAR in the night for 2 hours. Among 10 games, the most impressive one is that : I bite 5 layers of biscuit in my mouth, they put earphone to me and I sang! All the biscuit in my mouth, I sang and my teammate have to guess what was I singing. Can you imagine that? I also did not hear how bad I sang cause the earphone was so loud. A lot more games. Quite funny. We finished at 10pm and I went to 'yum cha' with friends. I reached home at 12pm. Tiring but I am happy because I can really ice-break with my classmates.

Orientation Day 2

What a boring day. The talk was boring. The mass call is totally same as what I heard last year during the foundation orientation. Mr. Chua's speech, even some of the 'jokes' are same as last year.

Then, everyone so desperate to attend the Examination Award and Scholarship thing as most of us want to apply PTPTN loan. It was crowded! But that slot was unfortunately disappointing! The speaker is so soft in voice, even with mic, we can't hear him. He prepared slide show, but did not put it in full screen. The words are long and small, we can't read at all. Asked him to higher his voice, he did it for a few sentences. Asked him to put it full screen for the slide show, he said it is in the booklet. But we do not get any booklet!

Most of us are disappointed, wanted to join the Sport Facilities Tour, but yet, it was cancelled. So what I have done today, nothing to do with Orientation, but someone.

Someone looks like someone. We went to bank, I helped to settle up some PTPTN loan staff. Someone was accidentally so close to me to the extent that I was shocked. Accidentally!

Again, the rhythm is playing in my mind. "high high, I'm so high! high high, in the sky!" Tomorrow we gotta meet up again for the staff again. Yeah!
I got electric shock today!

Orientation Day 2

I did not want to go for orientation today cause it's just Campus Adjustment Talk and Peer Mentoring Program. But since I at KL, nothing to do at home, I asked my friend and I joined.

The Campus Adjustment Talk is something I have heard during foundation orientation week. As the PMP is beneficial, I joined. The PMP members organized a small ice-breaking session. It was... FUN!

As I heard of the word 'ice-breaking', the stereotype appears in my mind is some activities that we form groups, ask for each others' name, remember it and being tested, hold hands to play some stupid activities like we have to form circle.

BUT...
That was totally different. Today, we don't need to waste time to remember each others' name but they wrote our name on a piece of 'name paper' and stick on our shirts. We randomly sat in a group of 6.
Then we will have to stand on a chair according to the commands that were given by the MC. There was one part where 6 of us in a group will have to try to stand on 1 plastic chair. That was really a good ice-breaking game. We will have to hug in order to stand. But of course, every group fails to achieve.

Then we were assign to our mentor. We discussed in a group for some information and discussion.

After that, we start our station games. Those were fun too! 3 station games also interesting.

I saw a girl since my foundation and she is damn pretty. I like her so much. I was like a stalker, look at her profile. Today we were in the same group, and I held her hand! I held her hand tight! She never let go of my hand!(As if we let go we will lose that game =P) And now, the song of Bigbang is playing in my head. : high high, I'm so high! high high, in the sky! LOL. I'm too high!

Perhaps this is the only funny session for the whole orientation. So Yeah! I enjoyed! Glad that I attended!

Photos sharing

Wow wow wow... It's been a long time I didn't blog. Feel boring and remind of this blog.

Pass few days I were busy editing the photos that I went to Penang with friends. It is such a nice memory. I love it.

These are some of the photos I edited. I like these very much.

Since I was 16, I do not really believe in friendship. But, I appreciate that you all were part of my life. Thank you all for everything you all have ever given to me.
